The Youth and Children Ministry is a vibrant and active part of our ministry here at Glory of God. These young, gifted and talented individuals are the future of our church and we work to train them to be prepared when their day comes. The group meets several times each month for activities and Bible Study. Some of the activities include but are not limited to Charity work( Giving to the needy and homeless), Evangelism, Bowling, Morning jogs and exercises, Beach visit and Summer family picnics.

The purpose of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (Glory of God) Youth and Children Ministry is to have a good Christian fellowship, to evangelize and preach to the lost, to allow our friends and peers see the Glory of God through our actions and spoken words.

A key aspect of the ministry involves working to complement what Christ-believing parents are teaching at home

The primary goal of the Ministry is to develop young ones that demonstrate active, disciplined and spiritual maturity. The Bible teaches a faith that is actively working to become more like Christ (James 2:14-26). Our Lord gives us the perfect example of when he was a young man. Luke 2:52 says “ And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and Man.” We want our Youth to increase in wisdom(mentally), in stature (physically), increase in favor with God (spiritually) and Man (socially)

C&S Glory of God Youth and Children Ministry Guidelines

  1. Appearance: Dress should reflect the standards of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (GHlory of God) . We ask that parents encourage their young ones to abide by the guidelines set by the Church for each activity. The overall objective of our dress is to glorify God
  2. Attitude: Young people should always demonstrate the highest respect for authority. Obedience and submissiveness towards adults is expected. Youth and Children should always display positive attitudes.
  3. Acquaintances and Friends: Youth group often functions as a place to develop life-long friends. We encourage our young ones to incorporate visitors into their friendships. Visitors will always be welcomed and treated as part of the youth group
  4. Activities: The purpose activities are to create fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism opportunities. When we use a facility or are on an activity the goal is to leave it in better condition than when we arrived.
